Autocomplete function
If you don't have the budget, the Autocomplete function is a good alternative. Type a part of a
word in the search field of a store and wait and see what suggestions the store comes up with.
If you do this several times you may come across useful keywords. All professional tools also
use this function.
The Autocomplete function allows the discovery of keywords.
13.2.2 App promotion for local companies or for information and education
As discussed earlier, the local bakery or painter does not gain much from a good ranking in the
stores, and the same applies to municipal authorities, for example.
As a local business, if you want your (potential) customers to use your app, you will have to
bring your app to the attention of your audience in many ways. Here are a few suggestions:
• Recommend personally
• Promotion on your own website
• Promotion via leaflets and newsletters
• Make use of referral programs
• Through advertisements in local media
• Online ads targeting your region
• Use influencers
• Etc.
