9.2.2 Step 2: Expand your list by using online tools
When choosing keywords, it is not only important to be able to choose from a large number of
keywords, we also want to know what the monthly search volume per search word or search
phrase is. This information is available in the Google keyword planner. This planner is part of
Google Ads. Google Ads is Google's advertising program for placing ads in the search engine
and certain websites, including YouTube. We use the keyword planner to perform a keyword
research for the search phrase "Red shoes". In the following screenshot we see the result.
